Chevin Commended at GreenFleet Awards

Fleet management software specialist, Chevin Fleet Solutions, has been commended in the IT Innovation Category at the 2007 Green Fleet Awards.

The judges recognised the recent addition of Environmental Impact Reporting to Chevin's Fleet Management software systems. This innovative new function offers transport managers the ability to see at a glance the environmental impact their fleets are having, which then enables them to measure their fleet’s performance against pre-set targets and reduce pollution. Commenting on the awards ceremony, David Hart, Chevin's Marketing Manager, said: "It is an excellent achievement for the company to be recognised for one of our many innovative solutions. Chevin is proactive in looking for ways to help clients reduce the environmental impact of their transport operation, alongside lowering their costs and increasing efficiency, and we are dedicated to continuing to do so in the future." In addition, at the same ceremony, Kevin Webb from Business Post, one of Chevin’s FleetWave® clients, was awarded with Fleet Manager of the Year – Private Sector.
